Included in this category are Taiwan's more commonly found oolong teas. Many are sold under their variety or cultivar names. Their unique flavor profile and economical prices make them good everyday drinking teas. (It is not everyday that you have the time and state of mind to sit down and make GongFu tea.)

Many of these teas are grown and produced in MingJian township of Nantou county. MingJian boasts the highest production volume of tea in Taiwan. Situated at an elevation of 400 meters and endowed with flat plains well suited for tea making and processing, MingJian tea farmers produce excellent tea for everyday consumption.
